Introducing our Curldaze HBCU Scholarship Fund, dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders.
What began as a grassroots endeavor has blossomed into a modest scholarship program. Curldaze, a black-owned and founded haircare line, began offering small scholarships at various shows, conferences, and events, notably the Black College Expo where they participated as a vendor. Initially focusing on sampling and gifting haircare products to prospective and current Black college students, the initiative evolved to include providing modest financial assistance to support their educational pursuits.
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to fostering academic excellence and opportunity within the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) community. We recognize the immense potential and talent within these institutions and believe that every student deserves access to quality education, regardless of financial barriers.
With the small funds, we aim to provide some type of financial relief to both current and incoming HBCU students, ensuring they have the support they need to pursue their educational dreams. These funds are a form of support, representing hope, opportunity, and the belief that with determination, anything is possible.
By investing in HBCU students, we are investing in the future of our communities, our nation, and our world. We believe that education is one of the keys to unlocking endless possibilities, and we are proud to play a part in empowering the leaders of tomorrow.
